Privacy Policy
Effective 20 October 2026. Applies to the VidSupreme desktop app, its licence service and this website.
In short: when you sign in with Google we receive your email address, your name and your Google account ID, and we use them only to run your account and licence (and, if you agree, to email you product news). Your projects, scripts, pictures, voice recordings and API keys stay on your computer. We do not sell personal data.
1. Who we are
VidSupreme is a desktop application for Windows that makes explainer videos. It is developed and operated by the VidSupreme developer ("we", "us"). For any privacy question or request, write to n.surprise7@gmail.com.
2. Data we receive from Google Sign-In
The app offers "Sign in with Google" and asks Google only for the basic scopes openid, email and profile.
Google then shares with us:
| Data | Why we use it |
|---|---|
| Your email address | To create and identify your account, to match it with a purchase made with the same email, and to contact you about your account or licence. |
| Your name | To address you in the app and in emails. |
| Your Google account ID | A stable identifier, so your account and licence stay the same if you change your email address with Google. |
We never see your Google password. The app does not request access to Gmail, Google Drive, Calendar, Contacts, YouTube or any other Google service, and cannot read them.
Marketing emails: when you sign in you can tick a box to receive product updates and offers. We record your answer and its date. Only accounts that agreed are ever emailed offers, and every such email lets you stop them. You can also withdraw consent by writing to us.
Google API Services User Data Policy: VidSupreme's use and transfer of information received from Google APIs adheres to the Google API Services User Data Policy, including the Limited Use requirements. We do not use Google user data for advertising, we do not sell it, and we do not use it to train AI models.
3. Licence and usage records
To provide the free trial and paid licences and to prevent abuse, our licence service keeps:
- A device identifier: a one-way hash of a random ID created when the app is installed. It is not your computer's hardware ID, name or IP address. It lets a licence work on a limited number of computers and limits the free trial per computer.
- Render records: when you render a video, the time, the device identifier, whether it used a free trial video, and a hash of the project ID (not its content, title or script). This counts free videos and lets a re-render of the same project within 24 hours be free.
- Account details: when the account was created and last used, the app version, and the referral or campaign code of the link you downloaded from, if any.
- Licence details if you buy: the purchase email, plan, upgrades, status (for example refunded), number of computers, and a one-way hash of your licence key (the key itself is not stored). Payment details are handled by the marketplace you buy from; we never receive card numbers.
4. What stays on your computer
Your projects, scripts, scene settings, pictures, voice recordings, rendered videos and the app's log file are stored on your computer and are not uploaded to us. API keys you enter are encrypted with Windows' built-in protection and stored on your computer; we never receive them. If you choose to send us your log file for support, it holds the app version, your system, your plan and the models you chose, and never your keys or scripts.
5. AI providers you choose
To write scripts, draw pictures and generate voices, the app sends your topic or script text, picture prompts and narration text directly from your computer to the AI provider you select (for example OpenRouter, Anthropic or OpenAI, and the voice and image models offered through them), using your own API key. Those requests do not pass through our servers. The provider's own privacy policy and terms apply to what you send them.
6. Who we share data with
We do not sell or rent personal data. We share it only with:
- Cloudflare, which hosts our licence service, its database and this website, as our service provider.
- Google, which performs the sign-in.
- The marketplace or payment platform you buy from, to confirm purchases, refunds and upgrades.
- An email service, only for accounts that agreed to receive emails, if we use one to send them.
- Authorities, when the law requires it.
7. Where data is kept and for how long
Account and licence data are stored in Cloudflare's infrastructure and may be processed in countries other than yours. We keep account data while your account exists, render records for as long as needed to count trial use and detect abuse, and licence records for as long as needed for the licence and for legal and accounting duties. When you ask us to delete your account, we delete or anonymise your data within 30 days, except what we must keep by law.
8. Your choices and rights
- Stop marketing emails at any time (link in every email, or write to us).
- Ask for a copy of your data, a correction, or deletion of your account: write to n.surprise7@gmail.com from the email address of your account.
- Sign out in the app to free a computer's licence seat. You can also remove VidSupreme's access in your Google Account settings.
- Depending on where you live (for example the EU, UK or California) you may have further rights, including objecting to processing and complaining to your data protection authority.
9. Children
VidSupreme is not intended for children under 16, and we do not knowingly collect their data. If you believe a child has signed in, write to us and we will delete the account.
10. Changes and contact
If we change this policy we will update the date above and, for important changes, tell you in the app or by email. Questions: n.surprise7@gmail.com.
